“Sunny and mild weather will last into Easter Sunday with highs in the 40’s on the mountain and 50’s at the base. Winds will be breezy up top through the period with gusts of 30-40 mph.
Then by Sunday night a cold trough will push in from the North with much colder air. We could see some light snow showers break out as early as Sunday night.
Monday through Wednesday next week the cold trough sits over the area with highs in the 30’s and continued chances for light snow showers. We could see several inches of snow slowly accumulate over the 3 days with light snow showers off and on. Winds will continue to be gusty on the mountain through the period.
We may see a break in the action the end of next week into the following weekend before we could see more storms the week of the 4th.”
