It's here....ski season begins this week at Mammoth Mountain!  To get  you 
all geared up and maybe even signed up for a trip, get ready to attend the  
annual Ski Dazzle event - see below.  Here are you deals  for Mammoth and deals on 
season passes for Mt. High and Snow  Summit/Bear Mountain, too........


*  Mammoth Mountain - Opens this Week!
 
Opening day is 11/9, conditions permitting.  Mammoth is planning a big  
season kickoff celebration for 11/11!  Champagne will be served at 11am at  the 
Main Lodge and live music from "Heartful of Soul" will entertain you from  
11:30am-3:30pm.  There are other surprises in store as well.  Call for  conditions 
before heading up....the weather has been on the warm side.   They hope to open 
Broadway with man-made snow.  
 
Silver Season Pass - on sale until 12/31/06 (holiday gift  idea).  This pass 
is $699 for ages 18-64, $525 for ages 13-17 and $350  for ages 7-12 & 65-79.  
This pass has 14 blackout dates.   If you purchase by 11/8/06, they'll send 
you 2 lift tickets that can be  used on any two of those blackout dates!  This 
pass pays for  itself after 9 days of skiing/riding.
 
Value Season Tickets - lift tickets for opening day through 11/22 will be  
$63 (regular price is $78).  
 
Thanksgiving Lodging - This will save you up to $70 per night,  requires a 4 
night minimum, some restrictions apply.  Offer valid for  lodging from

First Tracks Lodging Deal - Lodging at Mammoth's resorts starts at $99 per  
night/per person, restrictions apply.  This deal is available 11/9-21,

*  Ski Dazzle - Coming Soon
 
The Annual Ski Dazzle show hits the LA Convention Center early this year -  
the show is scheduled for 11/16-19/06.  The Convention Center is located at  
1201 S. Figueroa St., South Hall,  LA 90015 - near the Staples Center where  the 
110 and 10 freeways intersect.  There will be 4 football fields of  bargains 
including 360 booths with 85 resorts represented, ski and  snowboard retailers 
will be on hand to answer your questions and lead you to the  best gear for 
you, entertainment, free ski lessons, $30,000 in prizes and so  much more.  Get 
a free Bear Mountain lift ticket with your Ski Dazzle  admission - a $49 
value.  Tickets can be purchased online or at Sport  Chalet.  Prices are $17, kids 
6-12 are $5 and under age 5 are free.

*Adventure Ski & Snowboard School  

Free Ski or Snowboard  Lesson! Two people get their first beginner private 
lesson at the same time for  the price on one. Valid weekdays until 3/30/07 when 
you mention Sliding on the  Cheap when calling for an appointment. You must
