Hi Snow Seekers,

Are you ready for some deals to take advantage of the snow Southern California received last week? Better hurry 'cause the weather forecast is for a warming trend this week. Our resorts do not expect the opportunity to make much snow this week but the weather should be colder with a chance of snow for next week - just in time for a Valentine's day getaway. Start planning now with these deals:

Bear Mountain - Deepest Snowpack in So. Cal.
Bear is 90% open with a 36-68" base (only Mammoth is deeper). Ride free on your birthday and remember that kids 5 and under ride free, too. Reservations are still your best bet to insure you can ride - they limit sales to keep lift lines reasonable - call (909) 585-2519 or visit the website for more info. Regular ticket prices are in effect at $39 for adults, $34 ages 13-19 and $12 ages 6-12 and 70+. Take advantage of the Vertical Plus if you plan to ski 2 or more days - you get one lift ticket and $5 off regular price each time you return plus you get points you can use for prizes. Check out the lodging at Big Bear Frontier starting at $49 a night - call (877) 266-7104. www.bearmtn.com.

Mt. High - Faultline Park Open Top to Bottom
Get over to the East Resort and ride Faultline all the way down to the base! Mt. High boasts 7" of white stuff last week and they now have a 24-36" base. Do you and/or your friends want to save a few bucks? Check out the $59 Quad deal - get four fully transferable night tickets (after April 1st they are good during the day). This is only available at certain sport shops or online - see the website. Or, head over to Ralph's Supermarkets and get a $29 ticket (pay an extra $10 and it can be used for the beginner package) - available through March 12th. Enter the WINter Sweepstakes for a chance to win equipment, passes, clothes and a Hawaiian trip - see the website for details. Their Point tickets may be a good buy if you prefer to pay as you go - $39 gets you 200 points and at 10 points per most lifts, you can average 20 runs with this fully transferable pass. They also offer 600 points for $99 and 1000 for $149 - do the math to see what works for you. Newbies should try the 3-peat for $99 - you get 3 days of lifts, lessons and rentals! Or, try the $59 Swatch watch that can be programmed with your prepaid lift program allowing you to go straight to the lifts. www.mthigh.com.
