Subject: Sliding on the Cheap! Southern California!
Hello Snow Dreamers,
Southern California hasn't received any new snow for a while but it looks
like change is in the air! Weather.com is reporting a storm is headed our
way and should arrive on Saturday bringing snow through Monday. Until then,
the cold weather is ideal for our resorts to make snow. So, get up to your
favorite resort and point your skis/board downhill for these deals:
Bear Mountain - 24 to 52 Inch Base
You can get $10 off with your season passes from other resorts or ride free
on your birthday. Or, save a few bucks by taking advantage of the 2-day pass
- $73 adults, $65 (13-19) and $22 for kids & seniors (6-12 & 70+).
Reservations are still your best bet to insure you can ride - they limit
sales to keep lift lines reasonable - call (909) 585-2519 or visit the
website for more info.

Big Bear Lodging Deals
The Northwoods Resort offers ski/lodging deals starting at $79 - call them at
(800) 866-3121. Or visit Big Bear Vacations.com for packages starting at
$49 - or call at (800) 524-6600. Both offer convenience to Bear Mountain and
Snow Summit.
Snow Summit - Jiffy Lube Offers 2 for 1
Just prior to writing this newsletter, I heard a radio ad stating Jiffy Lube
is offering a 2 for 1 ticket deal but couldn't confirm on either website
before my writing deadline - call your local Jiffy Lube for details on this
offer! Summit is reporting they made snow for 122 hours and have a 12-36"
base with mid-winter conditions. They are also offering $10 off if you
present your season pass from other resort - good 1/22-2/1. Let's perpetuate
snow sports - from January 28th through February 1st, Take Your Daughter to
the Snow week, Snow Summit is offering first timers (8 years old and over) a
free lift ticket with a paid adult ticket - call (909) 866-5841 for details.
I would recommend a reservation because they limit sales - call. Don't
forget to ride free on your birthday with I.D. Their Half-day Getaway allows
you to ride until 1pm and turn your ticket in for a credit of $13-17
(depending on the original ticket price) toward another day's lift. Check
out Vans Triple Crown Snowboarding event February 7th through 10th.

$39 gets you 200 points and at 10 points per most lifts, you can average 20
runs with this fully transferable pass. They also offer 600 points for $99
and 1000 for $149 - do the math to see what works for you. Another deal is
the Quad Discount - $59 for night & late season riding and you get four fully
transferable night passes that are good from 5-10pm until April. After
April, they are good anytime and for 8 hours per ticket. Remember, this
offer is only available on-line or at certain sports shops - see the website

Or, try the $59 Swatch watch that can be programmed with your prepaid lift
program allowing you to go straight to the lifts. Season passes are $499
adults and $199 kids. Be sure to get a free Express Pass with your first
lift ticket - when you activate it, you get $4 off every lift ticket you buy
