TOP 10 TIPS FOR ENJOYING THE HOLIDAYS AT SIERRA-AT-TAHOE ® Resort

  1. Purchase the Sierra 3-Pak and ski as low as $45 per day
    The Sierra-at-Tahoe 3-pak tickets are available every day, including holidays, for $135. The 3-pak allows guests to save on the rack rate, and the tickets do not need to be used on consecutive dates. The 3-pak is non-transferable and is valid for one person.  Pricing subject to change.

  2. Reserve  children’s lessons  and  day care   online in advance to save time and money!
    Children’s lessons and daycare spots do fill up quickly so be sure to make a reservation to guarantee a spot.   Save $5 when you book Children's Lesson online in advance!  The Wild Mountain children’s center can be reached at 530.659.7453 x270.

  3. Utilize the preferred parking lots
    Park just steps from the slopes and avoid having to carry gear from the outer reaches of the parking lots with Sierra Resort’s preferred parking, available for just $15 per day or $149 for the season.  Buy parking sesaon pass online >
    New this season, guests who drive hybrid vehicles up to Sierra Resort will be able to park in Preferred Parking for FREE!

  4. Take advantage of Sierra ™ Resort’s free shuttle service
    Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort’s shuttles stop at more than 40 hotels and casino properties on the South Shore. For a list of pick-up times and locations, guests can call 775.883.2100 or visit the Shuttle Services page for more information.

  5. Eat lunch before 11:00 a.m. or after 2:00 p.m. and eat at on-mountain restaurants
    The lunch rush tends to occur during the noon hours so it is best to avoid that time frame. Also, the base area restaurants tend to attract more people than the on-mountain restaurants such as the West Bowl and Grandview restaurants, so head there for grand views and great food.  Try the mouth-watering pulled pork sandwiches at the NEW 360° Smokehouse BBQ atop Grandview with its breathtaking views!

  6. Take Advantage of Afternoon Rates for Double Whammy® Passholders
    Double Whammy passholders with holiday blackout dates can purchase full-day lift tickets at the afternoon rates.

  7. Arrive Early and Leave before 3:00 p.m. or after 6:00 p.m. to avoid Traffic
    Arrive early closer parking spots, best selection of rental gear and fresh tracks!  The Sierra rental shops open at 8:30 a.m. on weekdays and 8:00 a.m. on weekends and holidays.  If you don't leave before 3:00 p.m., we recommend heading over to the Pub to enjoy Happy Hour specials and wait out the traffic.

  8. Use Overnight Ski Check
    Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort offers complimentary overnight ski check service for all guests with Sierra-at-Tahoe rental equipment and Vertical Plus™ members.

  9. Take Advantage of Multi-Day Products and Save
    Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort offers $99 lesson season pass for advanced and intermediate skiers and riders, $99 rental season passes and the Learn to Ski Guarantee, which promises to teach guests how to ski or ride in just three days for as low as $49 a day.
