Details:

I haven't been back to Sierra at Tahoe since I learned how to snowboard for
the first time. I finally got a chance to venture up to the top and the black
diamond trails. The trails aren't very long and not too difficult if you are a
upper mid-level skiier/snowboarder. Overall, the snow condition was excellent.
Although the lifts were crowded, as were the trails, there were plenty of
fresh powder through the woods as well as the trails. Other than the slow
lifts and lines, you should have fun especially through the woods. I think
this is one resort where Vertical Plus membership will bring you much joy. As
you know, there is nothing like cutting ahead of a crowded line. Watch out for
occassional icy patches.
