First trip to Northstar in almost 2 years. Well, 1st thing first, the parking by the village now costs $14 (did anyone say rip-off?). Then, a buddy of mine tried to rent his skis/boots/poles. He got in line at 10am, and by 11am, had only moved 40 feet, and was still far away from renting anything, so he gave up and read a book instead of skiing. So, heads up, if you or any of your buddies need to rent equipment at Northstar, get there early or get in line for ever. Otherwise, the snow was awesome, and the lines were okay (none at Rendez Vous as usual).
