Details:

Okay, so this was only my second time snowboarding (the first was at Boreal).
When we first got there, their power was out and all the lifts were closed (!)
but that got taken care of quickly, and those people who had full-day tickets
got a "get-your-next-full-day-at-a-half-day-price" voucher. With how late we
were anyway, we just hung around and then got a half day ticket.
Right away I noticed how very, VERY much longer the lifts were than at Boreal!
No longer was it like "wheee! <wait in line> <go up lift> wheee! <wait in
line> <etc.>" Once I rode the lift to the top I could actually cruise for a
while.	So that was cool.
However this was my first encounter with wet snow (which in some places had
hardened to make a thin layer of iciness on the top) and that wasn't too great
but it really wasn't that bad either. In fact, the wet snow slowing me down
may have even helped me learn.
I actually managed to go down a couple blue squares in addition to the usual
green circles.	:)
Big storm should be rolling in right about... now. Lots of new (temporarily
dry) snow on the way, so I'll be back to Tahoe on Sat!

Kevin
