Loved: Racking up tons of vertical - going too fast
Hated: old, tired, hard, icy snow - bumps on Granite, KT
Moguls: big, icy :-(
Details:
This snow was old back around Christmas - now it's just plain beat. VERY firm, icy in spots... but it sure makes you go fast. Got a late start both days, letting is "soften up" a bit in the morning (HA!), but still racked up big vertical (for me) both days - 28K on Sunday and 25K on Monday. Virtually no lines on Sunday - and the place was a ghost town on Monday. Rode right up to every chair all day. Met some new people, listened to my new Rio MP3 player... all in all, a great time, despite the crappy snow!
