Well. It was cheap. And when it was groomed and/or man-made, it was fine. i took one of those free Vertical Improvement Programs. Unfortunately, the two other guys wanted to work on stuff like carving. (i wanted to work on bumps.) Oh well, got some tips on stance, which was useful. But mainly it was a little boring and repetitive. Ah well, it was free, right? (Well, i _did_ tip him $5.) Anyways, i digress. Let's see... i racked up a lot of "vertical feet" in West Bowl, where a there was a _lot_ of groomed and man-made. Other areas were pretty thin, and in some places, downright hardpacked and icy. Oh well, a bad (or mediocre) day boarding is better than a good day at work, right? (Especially when it's only $22, and i'm "earning" myself prizes and stuff.)
