wow! what a day! glad i stayed one more night. the powder may not have been that deep (6-8 inches, max), but it was a welcome change from rain, or groomed ice. getting up early was definitely worth it. i got a bunch of runs in off of Lakeview before the crowds showed up and cut it all into nasty chunks. Moved on to Sherwood, which was also good, as long as you watched out for the rocks and thin spots. After lunch, lines for Summit looked too long for me, so i took it easy, hitting Roundabout a lot and finally figuring out how to hit that hill that overlooks the base of Roundabout. Fresh tracks (albeit a little sticky) at 2pm!? Yup!
