Again, low expectations at Northstar, which i recalled being pretty slushy even a month ago. But the weather turned cold Sunday, with a brisk wind keeping the snow really nice. Thanks to a liftie's tip, we hit East Ridge, where we dropped in on things like Powder Bowl, and later on, the Chute, which was soft, but very consistent. Great for some high speed cruising. At 2pm, Burnout on the backside was still in great shape, and i even had a few decent runs on Lookout at the end of the day, which is at a lower elevation. (But ugh, definitely got sticky on the runout right before the Lookout lift.) Overall though, couldn't complain. Great spring conditions...
