Subject: Sliding on the Cheap! Tons of Deals for New England Skiers!
Date: Wed, 14 Feb 2001 19:15:50 EST
Hey New England Sliders,
Happy Valentine's Day! Hopefully you are all out taking advantage of the
cool Valentine's Day deals that we told you about last week. We are right in
the heart of the season now (no pun intended), and with the President's
holiday weekend coming up you might be finding that cheap tix are hard to
come by. Now that you've waited all this time to get 50% off your jacket you
can't seem to find a deal on lift tickets anywhere. Well, we hear you, so
have no fear, we dug deep and found some for you! On top of that, everyone
knows the best deal in New England this season is the great skiing! We went
to Loon this weekend and had a blast. It was a little chilly but the snow
was terrific! What an epic season! Better get in those sliding days while
you can because it will slip away before you know it. But for now, it just
keeps getting better. If you could use some good news today, check out this
week's SOTC Skiing weather report for the latest!
And don't forget to sign up for this FREE newsletter at
www.slidingonthecheap.com. We give away FREE LIFT TICKETS every week to
three lucky subscribers, so sign up today! You can also go to
www.slidingonthecheap.com for links to the Tahoe and Pacific Northwest
Sliding On The Cheap newsletters, or check out on-going deals in old SOTC
New England newsletters. Have fun!
SOTC Skiing Weather
We've got some good news from the National Weather Service this week folks.
It looks like we are going to be getting snow for the holiday weekend! In
fact, they are predicting a chance of snow showers every other day from now
though the early part of next week (we should even get some late tonight)!
And it won't be the bone chilling cold we've been getting recently, at least
not through the weekend. It won't be tropical by any means either with the
skies partly cloudy and temperatures between the mid 20s and 30s over the
weekend, and cooling to the lower 20s and 30s into the early part of next
week, but hey, we'll take it!
SOTC Skinny
Well, it's tough to find deals this time of year but there are some diamonds
in the rough. If you have been here with us since the beginning you might
remember that we told you about a cool deal for Boston sliders from the
