$46 buys you an adult lift ticket from the gift card rack at Northern California Safeway stores. Lift Tickets are valid any day during the 2007/2008 season. Direct-to-Lift (DTL) Tickets allow you to go straight from the car to the lift, bypassing lines at the ticket window.

Starting Dec 1, REI members ($15 for lifetime membership) can prepurchase discounted lift tickets at any of their Bay Area stores. You should call first to confirm availability. Northstar/Sierra tickets can also be exchanged for adult beginner ski or snowboard packages ($94-$104 value!) or can be used as a $75 credit towards children's lesson packages. Cannot be used for a Parent Predicament ticket. When used at Sierra as a lift ticket, you also get a $7 food/rentals/services voucher. Gold Card available at participating Nor Cal/Nevada Costco locations for $39.99. The Sugarwood ticket is valid early/late season at Sugar Bowl or Kirkwood (also good Mon-Thu non-holiday). All cards include entitle you to lift ticket discounts obtained either through pre-purchasing "e-tickets" on-line, or at some resorts (Boreal, Dodge Ridge, Northstar, Sierra, Sierra Summit) by simply showing card. Squaw e-tickets valid any day including holidays! Northstar/Sierra discounts ($10) only available Mon-Fri, non-holiday. Mt. Rose and Diamond Peak discounts only available non-holiday. Bear Valley is partnering with various ski shops around the Bay Area as well as Turlock and Modesto to offer bus trips. You can just pay for the bus trip ($59), +ticket ($89), +ticket+rental ($119), +ticket+rental+lesson ($139). Dates are on our calendar. Those prices are from Sports Basement Sunnyvale.
