Well sliders, a new month is upon us! February is one of the best sliding months, historically speaking. Snow comes often and makes for some prime days on the mountain. Just look at the recent storms that have been hitting the Colorado mountains, leaving a blanket of fresh powder, or at least a sprinkling of snow. With these superlative conditions there is no reason to not be out doing what I know you love to do: Slide, duh! Now is the time Sliders to get out there and do something good. One February 5-6, 2005, Copper will be holding the Boarding for Breast Cancer Fundraiser. A way for the snowboarding community to raise awareness and help raise funds for the organization. Festival Village in Burning Stones Plaza. 9am - 4pm. B4BC Pipe Jam. Register in Burning Stones Plaza from 9am - Noon. Jam is from 1 - 3pm at Superpipe in the Catalyst Terrain Park. $5 entry fee or a donation to B4BC.
