Hey, Sliders!
Happy holidays from everyone at Sliding On The Cheap, your one-stop source for the best skiing and boarding deals.
The word of the week throughout Colorado is POWDER ... according to weather.com, the white stuff is supposed to start falling from the sky throughout the state on Christmas morning through December 27 and then again from December 29 right on through the new year. And considering that the resorts have already been hammered with snow during the past few weeks, this may turn out to be one of the best times to ski this year.
While the Christmas season isn't necessarily known for the best skiing deals, we've got lots of ways for you to save money during the next few weeks. And here's a hint if you want to avoid the big crowds... try visiting a smaller resort for a day that is known to cater to local sliders. You'll get a lot more skiing / borading in, a lot less waiting in lift lines, and great deals on top of it.
