Subject: Rocky Mountain SOTC: the Heart of the Season, the Heart of the Deals
Date: Wed, 22 Jan 2003 19:03:52 -0800

Greetings, Rocky Mountain and Wild, Wild West sliders!

We're just beginning the height of the Rocky Mountain season, and conditions are still looking good. Pockets of powder still lace the glades at almost all the resorts, and scattered squalls and flurries help keep the top layer fresh. Things should be quiet on most hills this Sunday while Super Bowl mania overtakes even the most dedicated of downhillers (except this one!). Slopes may continue on the quiet side from now until President's Day weekend, so enjoy all that vertical while the conditions are at their best!

Thought o' the Ski Week: Stretch pants - the garment that made skiing a spectator sport. Anonymous
