Notes:

+Dodge Ridge actually has weekday rates! $25 all day, Mon.-Fri.
*Donner Ski Ranch's Half-Day starts at 1:00pm

Sorry kids. All these are adult prices. Do check the sites though, because a lot of places are offering discounted tickets if you're 18-22, etc. But bah, i'm not. >:-P

If you're wondering what all the (3/4) and (5/6) stuff is about, it's a lift ticket that's good for 3 out of 4 days. So you don't have to ski three days in a row, but can take one day off.

Links:

rec.skiing.alpine is a Usenet newsgroup. Now if you have no idea what that means, and that link gave you some error about not being able to find a news server, that's ok, try this one. r.s.a., as it's affectionately known, is where skiers (and a couple of snowboarders such as myself) hang out to discuss anything and everything that might possibly relate to riding on snow. Great bunch of people, and great information (well, most of the time.)

ShredGeezers is "primarily a snowboard club catering to the Bay Area snowboarder over 25." Ok, whatever. Personally, i would hate to pigeonhole myself into only hanging out with snowboarders that are around my age. But Dave has some really good information and advice on everything from snowchains to manners to equipment. Check it out.

Southland Ski Server is the the Southern California counterpart to this page, except that Mark is even more obsessed than me. :}

Lots of good skiing/snowboarding info is available in the
<shameless plug>rec.skiing FAQ</shameless plug>.

At Play's page is one of those commercial sites i was talking about. No side-by-side price comparisons. It does have an ok map, though.

SnoWeb's page isn't bad. Lots of info. But still, all i want (and maybe all *you* want) is prices.

Bay Area Ski Connection has good resort reviews, side by side comparisons of prices, along with other options, links to ski clubs, and reports too! Check 'em out.

A couple of weather links that i use: The Weather Channel and National Weather Service.

Much as i hate to support the evil empire, their San Francisco Sidewalk has a good bunch of reviews of the Tahoe resorts.

Miscellanea:

This page was created because none of the sites out there had a side-by-side comparison of prices. And, they were all pretty commercial. i figured i could find the info that i wanted, and make it available to the net. Give something back, if you will.

Now that users can submit their own snow reports, i'm really hoping that this becomes a valuable resource to the snowboarding/skiing net community.

All of these prices have been confirmed by visiting their webpages. Nonetheless, i am not responsible for the accuracy of any of the information on this page. Certainly you should call the numbers listed, or check the links yourself if you want to be sure of the prices.
