$39 REI prepurchase
If you're an REI member ($15 for lifetime membership), you can prepurchase discounted lift tickets at any of their Bay Area stores. You should call first to confirm availability. Northstar/Sierra vouchers, when used at Sierra, include an $8 food voucher. (Note that Alpine tickets are not discounted, but are direct-to-lift tickets, so you can avoid waiting in line or sell-outs.)
